Inkscape SVN snapshot - Ubuntu .deb’s
January 6, 2008 – 4:24 pm[lang_en]For Ubuntu users that would like to get a preview of the new Inkscape, here is a development snapshot of SVN HEAD, as of Jan 4th: Inkscape 0.46~svn20080104 for Gutsy, and Inkscape 0.46~svn20080104 for Hardy.

Lots of changes since the last Stable, one of them is Speed! for example, exporting to PNG is much more faster! and memory usage is better 
Give it a test , and if you find bugs, why not help the project and submit them here.

[lang_pt]Para quem não conhece o Inkscape, é um programa de desenho vectorial para Linux e é OpenSource.
Para os utilizadores de Ubuntu que querem testar o novo Inkscape que está em desenvolvimento, o bryce da equipa do Inkscape, criou um pacote deb do SVN de 4 de Janeiro. Inkscape 0.46~svn20070104 para Gutsy e Inkscape 0.46~svn20070104 para Hardy.
Existem muitas melhorias desde o último lançamento (0.45) , como velocidade , memoria, etc.
Então, porque não fazer o download e testar? se encontrares bugs submete aqui.

Any chance of 64-bit builds?
I’ve heard that inkscape might now have the ability to import .eps files - i’ve been waiting for this for ages!

http://ubuntu.cafuego.net/dists/gutsy-cafuego/inkscape/ seems to be updated every few days. Includes amd64 debs.
