EMI Music

April 3, 2007 – 10:58 am

Yesterday was a step forward for all of us, when EMI Music and iTunes agreed to seel music with out DRM and with better quality, you can read all about it in the Press release:

However the reason I’m writing is simple.

The formats available will be AAC, MP3 and WMA - they are all patented protected formats. So if you wish to help and suport free formats, send a e-mail to EMI and ask them to release in Vorbis and Flac format. The e-mails can be found in the end of the Press Release. “Anti-DRM” community take 5 minuts of your time.
