Some time ago, Novell released a new version of their odf-converter, that allows you to open OpenXML files (docx, xlsx, pptx) in OpenOffice 2.X.

I know that OO.o 2.3 opens docx files already, but this plugin gives better support to that “format” for does who need to open it.

I’ve created a .deb to install in Ubuntu, you can get it HERE (32bits)

Today I discoverd this game in ProgramasLivres.net .

It’s a new OpenSource Multiplayer Game ( SingplePlayer is not available yet), based on the Quake Engine with some nice and colourful graphics. 12 maps, “weird” weapons ( but great ) - You have paintball, ducks, water ballons and mutch, and lots of fun.

Available for Windows, Linux and Mac.

Paint.NET is free image editing and photo manipulation software for windows, created using C# and C++ and its OpenSource
